I anthropomorphized a copy of the Bible written in Latin script and a copy of the Quran written in Arabic script. Then, I bonded them together using only the frictional force between each of their overlapping pages. I gave them ceramic hands, with a diamond on the ring finger of one hand. I got them to to cuddle together on a visible table at the Portland Public Library Portland, Maine around 3:30pm on 2011-10-01. The installation was removed by 12:30pm on 2011-10-03.
